Call for MITRA PhD Representatives

October 16th

IMISCOE’S Standing Committee on Migrant Transnationalism (MITRA) is looking for two PhD representatives.

The candidates are expected to participate in the activities of the committee and to contribute to the coordination of MITRA. This includes:

  • Contributing to the planning of MITRA activities (e.g., organization of sessions, panels and workshops at the IMISCOE Annual Conference, Spring conferences, CfPs).
  • Establishing a link with the IMISCOE PhD Network and Academy, and with MITRA’s PhD members
  • Participating in coordination activities (meetings with committee members, email correspondence)
  • Contributing with own initiatives

The applications must include contact details and a max. of 500 words with 1) motivation to join MITRA’s board, and 2) possible contribution to MITRA with one concrete project idea/initiative.
