These unprecedented times have been challenging across the globe. New “normal” have surfaced to be able to cope with the new situation and IMISCOE wasn’t foreign to this. The renowned annual conference has been conducted online with over 800 participants and internal activities have continued as well.
Most notably, the network has grown once more adding its 56th member. RUNOMI, Radboud University Network on Migration and Inclusion, was accepted during the last BD meeting on the 30th of June. The application was lead by Pascal Beckers and Linda Sloane and was well welcomed by the group. The latest addition widens the landscape of IMISCOE and confirms its willingness to grow. RUNOMI truly reflects IMISCOE’s vision which showcases an evident fit of intent. RUNOMI is a network founded in 2018 that bundles knowledge from various disciplines at Radboud University to study the multifaced phenomena of migration and migrant inclusion and include over 60 members with overlapping and intertwined domains. We are all looking forward to a fruitful collaboration!
